I am a lighting designer located in Lincoln, Nebraska. I'm passionate about lighting because I get to collaborate with amazing artists and carve out beautiful moments with light while adding depth to the meaning of the piece.
I will receive my BFA in Entertainment Production and Design with a minor in Art History and Criticism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2026. I've studied under Michelle Harvey for three years and from her I've learned the importance of sculpting moments and "putting the right light in the right place".
I've had the opportunity to work in multiple different small theaters across Nebraska in varying roles. Some of these include Crane River Theater in my hometown of Kearney, Nebraska Community Playhouse down in Hickman, and The Loft Theater out in Manley.
I'm an Assistant Light Designer under Caroline Nowak for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Rep performance of Urinetown. I'm also a Light Designer for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Rep performance of Eurydice. This summer I'll be working in Garden City, Utah for the Pickleville Playhouse as an Associate Light Designer under Dean Bressler.
